What should I know about Amazon keyword research to become a good seller?

Every experienced online retailer selling on Amazon knows research can become a solid foundation for a flourishing drop-shipping business. And let’s face it at once – customer habits on Amazon need research and in-depth understanding, of course, if you want your product listings to be well-optimized and shown among the top search results. Ultimately – to generate you more traffic from the relevant keywords, hence increasing your conversions. But the thing is that unlike the major search engines (like Google itself, as well as Yahoo, or Bing), Amazon’s search ranking algorithm has its own “product-centric” peculiarities. It means that from the viewpoint of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you’re not recommended to keep betting mainly on Google AdWords, at least when it comes to Amazon keyword research. The thing is that the Keyword Planner is quite fine for understanding the real search trends of live shoppers. At the same time, however, this basic tool can never capture a fully accurate data needed to make a perfectly targeted keyword selection for well-optimized product listings always staying on top of the search.
