US search audiences for a Mexican property agency
Baja Properties is a Mexican real estate agency serving the Los Cabos area. Its English-language campaign targeted searches in the United States for properties in Mexico, using distinct pages for locations such as Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and Los Barriles.

The search challenge.
Mexican real estate agency targeting US searches
The campaign needed to connect a foreign buyer’s search with the appropriate Mexican location page. Work also had to address technical inconsistencies across the website and support URL changes made with the client during the project.
What the team worked on.
Audience and location mapping
The team researched real-estate searches in the United States and agreed the target terms with the client. Location pages covered the initial priority areas, with Pacific and East Cape coverage added later.
Website-wide technical work
The audit led to changes covering website-version redirects, metadata, speed, broken links and images, mixed content, structured data and sitemap coverage. Duplicate URLs and unnecessary sort-page crawling were also addressed in the published project.
URL changes and duplicate versions
When the client changed the URL structure, the team helped redirect equivalent pages. An indexed copy of an earlier design was also identified and consolidated into the selected website version.
Promotion and content constraints
A link campaign supported the agreed location and wider real-estate queries. Content was prepared for priority categories, but the source says the client published only two of those texts; the reported outcome should be read with that limitation.
The before and after comparison.
The twelve-month table reports monthly organic visitors increasing from 677 to 5,341 and Google TOP 10 keywords from 128 to 2,793. A separate narrative claim of an eighteenfold increase does not match this table and is not used here. These are traffic and visibility figures, rather than property sales or measured revenue.
| Metric | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly organic visitors | 677 | 5,341 |
| Keywords in Google TOP 10 | 128 | 2,793 |

Original Semalt publicationConnect the work with the business.
This case illustrates the difference between the audience’s country and the places featured on a website. The campaign paired US search demand with Mexican property-location pages while technical and URL work supported the broader site.
These results belong to the original campaign. They do not describe the website’s current performance or predict results for another business.
The work combined technical changes, content and promotion. Today’s service scope, implementation responsibilities and pricing are agreed separately.
