Will the tag <meta name="robots" content="noindex,follow"/> work for no indexing?

Will the tag work for no indexing? Reason I asked is I set many pages to 'no index' using yoast settings, which generate that tag. 3 weeks later, all the pages are still indexed. After some research it seems like the tag might need to be (a space after the comma).
