How to include all significant product characteristics in your Amazon product title?

Product title on Amazon is what you need to improve to rank high. It is a paramount listing part that should be well converted. It is an art to write compelling product titles for Amazon. Most sellers do not pay much attention to this listing section, thinking that it is enough to mention brand and specification. However, it is not enough to attract customers click on your listing from search. Sellers who want to be prosperous on Amazon should understand the importance of crafting effective titles for each product.

You have probably noticed some long and stuffing product titles on Amazon. It is a bright example when sellers misunderstand the meaning of the word “descriptive.” It is true that your title should be descriptive and include primary product features. However, it should not be too long as it will look spammy for your potential customers and they most likely skip it.

The product title on Amazon is the first impression made by potential customers. That is why you need to make sure it looks perfectly well and engage customers to click on it. It raises discoverability and dictates how the product will be indexed on the website.

The basics of Amazon title

Amazon makes sellers to follow title optimization guidelines that you can find on Amazon Seller Central page. You have 250 character limit, and you should use them all to answer most customer questions at once. The most targeted search terms should place at the beginning of the title. An optimal amount of keywords in a title are two to three. More than tree search terms in your title can make it looks spammy. Your title should be long enough to tell the potential buyer exactly what the product is. There is no need to write about your brand or company in the title. Moreover, you should avoid any pricing or promotional information.

You should be aware that Amazon prioritizes a decent title formatting. Ideal Amazon title should include the brand name, series name, model name, form factor, and unique identifiers, such as size, color, or capacity. The format of Amazon title may vary depending on the category the product is listed in.

However, you should include not only product specifications but also product’s most impressive features and benefits. Moreover, you can engage your customers mentioning different use cases or specific information about the particular ASIN. However, there is no need to make your title too ambitious. You need to be impartial and precise crafting your title as shoppers will simply move on to another product on search rather than take time to figure out ambitious titles.

One more thing you need to take into account is that you should not repeat keywords your insert in your title in another listing sections such as bullets and description. You should have unique search terms for each listing section to raise your chances to rank higher by most of them.
