  • Expand your product listing page

The essential optimization aspect you should start with is expanding your product listing. You need to make it descriptive as much as possible, keeping your potential customer needs in mind. 

Work under your title optimization as it is the first thing users see on your product description page. You should make it descriptive, including all essential product features and specs. However, at the same time, you need to keep it well-readable and precise. There is no need to overload it with various relevant and irrelevant search terms as you will make your customers feel frustrated. Moreover, Amazon will crack down on this sooner or later. 

Make sure you have all product features on your listing page, both in bullet and description sections. Indicate anything that can be considered as a specification for your product (size, color, technology, power consumption, etc.) To make a compelling description, you can hire a professional writer who will assist you with this task. And finally, make sure you add all relevant search terms in your bullets and description. 

To make your product listing memorizable and catching, upload professionally captured photos and optimize them according to Amazon image guidelines. Make sure you have images of large size (more than 1000 px), to let customers zoom your photos. Each product should have at least 5-6 photos to let customers check all product details.

If you want to increase Amazon ranking, you need to solicit as much positive feedbacks as possible. Recently Amazon representatives claimed that positive reviews do not have any effect on a ranking system. However, they also can't deny that Amazon tracks the frequency of negative feedbacks.
